Jason Schwartzman, born in 1980, is an American actor and musician. As a member of the Coppola family, he made his film debut in Wes Anderson's *Rushmore* (1998), which launched his acting career. He has since become a frequent collaborator with Anderson, appearing in numerous films. Outside of acting, Schwartzman is also a musician, having been the drummer for the band Phantom Planet, known for their song "California".
