Pete Wentz is an American musician, best known as the bassist and lyricist for the popular rock band Fall Out Boy. Before Fall Out Boy's formation, he was involved in the Chicago hardcore scene. Wentz formed the experimental group Black Cards during Fall Out Boy's hiatus. He also owns the record label DCD2 Records, which has signed several successful bands.
