Christian Wolfgang Lindner is a German politician of the Free Democratic Party (FDP). He served as the Federal Minister of Finance from 2021 until his dismissal in 2024 during a government crisis. Lindner also served as the party leader of the FDP for a long period and was a Member of the Bundestag (MdB) for North Rhine-Westphalia. After his party lost the 2025 election, Lindner resigned from his post.
