Viorica Dăncilă is a Romanian politician who served as Prime Minister of Romania from 2018 to 2019, making her the first woman to hold the position. She was also leader of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) and the first woman president of the PSD. Prior to her premiership, she served as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for two terms, starting in 2014. She also held the position of president of the Social Democratic Women's Organization (OFSD).
