Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta is a Kenyan politician who served as the fourth President of Kenya from 2013 to 2022. He is the son of Jomo Kenyatta, Kenya's first president, carrying on a family legacy in Kenyan politics. Before becoming president, he served as Deputy Prime Minister from 2008 to 2013 and as the leader of the official opposition from 2003 to 2007. Kenyatta's presidency focused on economic development and infrastructure projects.
