He is best known for his monumental Wheel of Time series, which consists of 14 novels and a prequel. The series has sold over 90 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling fantasy series of all time. Prior to Wheel of Time, Jordan wrote Conan the Barbarian novels, considered by many fans to be among the best of the non-Robert E. Howard entries.
