Kerry King is an American musician, best known as the co-lead guitarist and songwriter of the thrash metal band Slayer. He co-founded the band with Jeff Hanneman in 1981. King is one of two members to stay with Slayer for its entire 45-year existence. King is now a solo artist, with his debut album *From Hell I Rise* released in May 2024.
