José Edmílson Gomes de Moraes, known simply as Edmílson, is a Brazilian football executive and former professional footballer. He is currently a technical consultant for São Caetano. During his playing career, he played as a defensive midfielder or centre-back for clubs such as Lyon, Barcelona, and Villarreal. Edmílson won the Champions League with Barcelona in 2006 and was also part of the Brazil squad that won the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
