Bounnhang Vorachit is a Laotian politician. He has held two of the highest offices in Laos. He was the General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the ruling party of Laos. He also served as the President of Laos from 2016 to 2021. During his time in power, he played a key role in shaping Laos's political and economic direction.
